​Mrs. Zelda Moore
​PRESIDENT/MANICURIST INSTRUCTOR
​Mrs. Moore is a native of Brenham and has been a working beauty professional for over 35 years. She began her career as a Cosmetology Operator specializing in nails. She has appreciated the beauty of the Manicurist, and wanted to share her knowledge, so she became a Cosmetology Operator Instructor.

​She worked for several years in a large Beauty School in Houston before deciding to form the non-profit organization, EVVAYLOIS Foundation, and open the EVVAYLOIS Academy School of Beauty in Brenham. In 2016 she joined Brenham Chambers of Commerce and is a member of Brenham Black Activist. She recognized the need for diversity, educational options, and involvement locally, and that is why EVVAYLOIS ACADEMY SCHOOL OF BEAUTY was established!

Mrs. Jane Archie 
​FINANCIAL AID DIRECTOR

Jane Archie is a bilingual licensed Cosmetology Operator Instructor.  She has owned and worked in beauty schools as an instructor and manager for over 35 years.  She is also a leader in creating meaningful continuing education courses for all cosmetology professionals, including instructors. 

Jane is also an experienced administrator in the area of workforce development, having delivered seminars and training to workforce professionals on subjects ranging from resume writing and interviewing to diversity in employment.

In her company, JSpeak Solutions, she continues to educate cosmetology professionals, as well as train and coach potential and current beauty school owners on management, financial aid and accreditation standards. 

Mrs. LaTreace Miles
CAMPUS ​DIRECTOR

​LaTreace Miles joined EVVAYLOIS Academy from its beginnings in order to execute and manifest her managerial abilities in a completely new field. She had served in many administrative roles in several different industries, spanning over two decades. The beauty industry brought a new challenge to her, and with a thirst for adventure and education, she readily fell into her role here as Campus Director. ​

Ms. T'Mauria Foster
CLASS "A" BARBER AND COSMETOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

Ms. Foster has been surrounded by hairstylists her whole life. She is a graduate of the best HBCU in the land, THE Prairie View A&M University. She has spent years in customer service, healthcare, and helping others. She enjoys teaching theory and assisting with styles.

Mrs. Tammy White 
CLASS "A" BARBER AND COSMETOLOGY ​INSTRUCTOR

​Hairstyling is a career path that chose me, I have loved doing hair for as far back as I can remember. I earned my cosmetology license in 1989 and have been working in the industry ever since. I became a salon owner in Killeen, TX, which I co-owned for eighteen years, we sold that salon and I moved to the Houston area where I then earned my class A barber license and cosmetology educators license (now no-longer exist) and have been teaching now for a little over ten years. I currently sole own and operate my second salon, spa and barbershop in Cypress, TX. Over the years I ventured out from the beauty industry but never leaving, into the world of real estate which has been just as rewarding. In this chapter of my life, teaching beauty school students has become one of the highlights of my life, it is so rewarding to witness the students transition into beauty professionals. What I do doesn’t feel like a job, it’s who I am and what I was called to do.

Mr. Keith
COSMETOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

Keith has been a professional hairstylist for over twenty years. He is a graduate of the world renowned Toni and Guy Hairdressing Academy in Dallas, Texas. For over eight years he owned and operated  his own salon in downtown McKinney, TX. He is accomplished in both cutting and coloring hair.

Mr. Braxtyn Smith

LEAD CLASS "A" BARBER INSTRUCTOR

​​Mr. Smith began his barbering career in 2019, by attending Your Professional Image School of Barbering, located in Columbia, South Carolina. After completing 1500 hours, he devoted his talents to Unlimited Styles of Art Barber and Beauty, attaining over 120 walk-in clients in a 3-month time span, which built great team building and relationship skills displaying prosperous business. Mr. Smith coached and mentored over 150 military and government personnel, while evaluating, advising, and educating them on Financial Managements tactical, and technical disbursing operations in support of Operation Freedom Sentinel. Responsible for over $20 million, servicing roughly 40,000 personnel, completing all missions without any loss of funds. Served as a Motor Vehicle Operator, provisioning Operation Enduring Freedom. Accountable for all vehicles and equipment in excess of $3.5 million, transporting military and the local population. Intergrated signal systems and networks of many electronic devices, to include computers and radios. . While still committed to the United States Army, with 2 years remaining, he would depart duty, and barber part time. After spending 7 years in South Carolina, Mr. Smith decided to return back home to Texas, to be closer to family, and close friends. He immediately found employment at Ricky's Barbershop located in Brenham, Texas. After being nominated to speak to Barber Students at Evvaylois School of Beauty, knowing his passion was in training/teaching. He ultimately decided to instruct. ​
